About Me
I am originally from Cave Creek, Arizona, and moved to Tucson to attend the University of Arizona. I received my Bachelors of Science in Nutrition in 2018, and am now pursuing a PhD in the NSC Graduate Program. I have always been into health and fitness; through college, I became increasingly interested in the research behind it and decided that I wanted to pursue it further.

Why did you choose the Nutritional Sciences Graduate Program at the University of Arizona?
I chose UA because of how many research options there are here - this department is incredibly diverse and has a ton of interdisciplinary opportunities. Also, I enjoyed attending the UA for undergrad - during senior year, I got to know some of the professors and became involved in their research. I knew that I would be able to do research here I am interested in, so it felt natural to continue my education here.
